Community Outreach

High Touch High Tech is dedicated to serving the communities throughout Western North Carolina. Each year HTHT supports local schools and local organizations.

High Touch High Tech strives to give back to the WNC community by staying involved with our schools, community organizations and partnering with area businesses.

Through a FUN hands-on experience, our community events bring science out of the classroom and into the hands of our beloved community members.

2019 MS Walk and Wellness

April 28, 2019 - High Touch High Tech of WNC will be attending the 2019 MS Walk and Wellness at Bill Moore Community Park in Fletcher. Come out and support/donate to a great cause. While you are there, come check out HTHT hands-on FUN science booth!

The Mountain Science Expo: Mountains of ScieNCe

April 27, 2019 - High Touch High Tech of WNC is a sponsor for The North Carolina Arboretum from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm for a Mountain Science Expo: Mountains of ScieNCe. Come be part of the North Carolina Science Festival, this family-friendly event will feature hands-on demonstrations, guided programs and more than 20 exhibitors!

The Special Olympics

April 12, 2019 - High Touch High Tech  of WNC will be attending the 8th annual 2019 Special Olympics Races at East Hendersonville High School from 9:30am - 2:00 pm. Come and cheer on the racers and get your hands slimy at the HTHT booth!

March 27, 2019- High Touch High Tech of WNC will be at the Henderson County Public Library from 3:30 pm- 5:30 pm for a Citizens Science Program for the North Carolina Arboretum. Come observe native plants, wildlife and come check our booth. We will be having a FUN, hands-on experiment for the children that they can take home!

The JCC Purim Festivities

March 17, 2019- High Touch High Tech of WNC is a sponsor for the JCC Purim Festivities from 10:00am-3:00pm. Make sure you come and support the JCC and check out our Science booth for some FUN hands-on experiments!

Teacher of the Month

January 14, 2019- High Touch High Tech of WNC has partnered up with The Morning Mix Show with Tammy and Kipper at 96.5 as a sponsor for the "Teacher of the Month!" Make sure to check out our FUN, hands-on science programs and go over to The Morning Mix Show to nominate a teacher!

Biltmore Park Town Square’s Holiday Magic & Memories

December 1, 2018- This family friendly event full of festivities including carriage rides, crafts and activities, magicians, music, stilt walkers and of course a visit with Santa. Enjoy the parade through Town Square and stay for the Tree Lighting at 6 p.m. High Touch High Tech of WNC will have a booth with FREE hands-on science experiments for the children!! Make sure to check us out! Event is free and open to the public.

Christmas is 4 Kids 2018
